Minor reason why I'm glad I went with a (mostly) natural birth: Epidurals (per TheNest.com) generally run around $1000; my stadol was only $150. Granted, all of this is before the insurance kicks in, but still. I am being induced bright and early tomorrow morning due to a diagnosis of preeclampsia.

Pictures and the official announcement should be up sometime over the weekend. :o)

We have successfully moved into our new place, and most stuff has been unpacked, just have a few extra boxes of decorations that need to be put up and some office stuff that we have to figure out where to store since what would have been our office is now Speck's Room.

My feet are starting to swell.

I apparently failed my one-hour glucose test by four points. I am not happy about this.

EDIT: It occurred to me that most of my friends don't actually know what the one-hour glucose test is. The one hour glucose test is a quick challenge test for gestational diabetes. They make me drink a glucose solution (it tasted like Sprite) and then draw my ( Read more... )
